I got completely scammed, as did my daughter, by an AAA Travel agent on a Disney trip. This lady insisted from the beginning that the only rooms that were available were the more expensive pool view rooms, which I didn't want because they were noisy.

So she agreed to continue to check for the regular, less expensive rooms to become available. I have email records showing me ask her repeatedly if any of the cheaper, standard rooms were available to switch us too and she said no over and over again. Then we get there and low and behold we were put into the cheaper room way far away from the pool. However, when I contacted her to ask her to refund us for the difference we paid between the more expensive room and the one we actually got, she refused.

Then I tried to contact AAA directly and they had no idea who this lady was and claimed that they couldn't even find my trip information at all. This lady booked this trip when I didn't have a membership but AAA said that they don't do that and they couldn't look up my information without an AAA account number, which I do not have. I don't know what kind of sketchy operation AAA is running but BUYER BEWARE! My daughter and her husband booked a trip through this lady and she did the same thing to her.

We both got charged for the more expensive room but got put into the cheaper room and the travel agent, Laura Ferguson, pocketed the difference. She just kept saying that she made up the difference by giving me a great deal on this one extra day she added at the end, which was added last minute because she screwed up and forgot to add that day in. I found out at the last minute, when I was unable to make my fast passes on that day, that she hadn't even booked us for the correct number of nights.

So, I had to come up with the cost of an extra night last minute due to her error and she makes it out like she was doing me a favor?? You can see from my uploaded pictures that I clearly paid for the pool view room but in the other picture you can see her acknowledging that our room was far away from the pool and everything else.

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

Monetary Loss: $120.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

AAA Travel Cons: Very unprofessional sales rep, Overcharged me for room and pocketed the difference, Refused to correct problem, Rude and unhelpful, No proper website given during entire process or address.
