Usually, things go well with AAA, but not this time. Stranded for 7 hours with zero help.
The first tow came with a flatbed and refused to take the van. The second dispatch was never dispatched as promised. The third tow said he was running late but then never showed. I finally had to pay out-of-pocket $325 and call a local tow company to get my vehicle.
There was no communication whatsoever with AAA. This has tarnished my feelings towards them and I may need to cancel my company's relationship with them.
The worst part is, I missed a funeral because of it. There's no excuse for what happened; it's just poor business.
Preferred solution: Full refund

This is the second time I have had to change my own tire. The customer service representative was very rude.
I was told that it would be almost 2 hours before someone would arrive. She offered no help or means of assistance. Her attitude was terrible. If you don't like your job, find another one, but if you are working in customer service, you need to change your attitude.
This company has definitely changed. Their main concern is signing up as many people as they can, but they need to take care of their current customers first.
If my 80-year-old parents were treated this way, I would be livid. AAA, please go back and listen to the conversation and train your employees better.

Accidentally paid again for a membership when I already had one
Paid 100$ on accident when I already had a membership so I want my 100$ back tbh I need it rn I paid my 125$ I was supposed to pay but I need my 100$ back asap please thankyou I have stuff to do tbh why I need it back didnt mean to pay that only meant to pay the 125$ I owed please understand

Verified Reviewer | Melrose Park, IllinoisCalled for roadside assistance for battery start! Was told that I had used up my calls for the year and that I would be charged 100 dollars to get someone out to charge the battery!
Bought a new battery from them in November of last year! Not even a year old!
They told me that I could have it towed to ( the car) AAA service center and if it was determined that the battery was defective then they would replace it and refund me 100 dollars!
Its been my experience that any work Ive had done in the past with AAA has proven to be very costly! And in some instances the problem has not been resolved!!!

Service
Service was phenomenal. Any problem that I have had AAA has always done a great job. Will recommend to everyone I know.
Battery
My battery had died and it was in the evening, it was very easy to ask for an appointment online and they were there within 30 minutes
How long you must wait for a tow
Ive been waiting since 6:30am mountain standard time for a tow truck it is now 10:00am and they are telling me another 2.5 hours before someone is coming. I have a Premier Membership RV.
So we pay a pretty penny. Not only that but transferred to 10 different representatives. No only am I losing wages but so is my husband. May lose my memberships.
Hence I have 8 other memberships for Premier AAA not with RV included. She maybe worn down but shes my daily driver.

We have a member of AAA since 1969, 55 years long and we have a AAA battery installed in our call 10 months ago, August 2023 and it has already died. We called AAA and a service tech came out and tested it and said it was completely dead and needed to be replaced.
I told him it was less than a year old and he said, on no worries it is fully covered under warranty, and it will be replaced at no charge to you. Only he did not have the battery on his truck and said we would need to wait until they got one in stock and call them back. I called then the next week and went through the same entire process and another tech came out and told me the same exact thing and neither did he have a battery on his truck and said we must try again. We tried again for a third time and were told a tech was on the way and would be here shortly.
Then I received an automated call saying they were running behind and someone would call me shortly to update. 6 hours passed and no one called, and they were then closed. I called again today, and they sent a tech out and he said the battery was not under warranty and it would cost 213.99. I told them that is not what we were told, and he said that is all he could do.
This is for my mother who is 82 years old and needs her car to get around. I have the conversation recorded by the tech that told me it was under warranty, but they still said it was not and we had to pay for it. We will never use AAA again and will cancel our memberships.
I tried to cancel and get a refund and they were very rude and refused to refund me. I called my bank and informed them what happened and they they disputed the charge, refunded my money and charged AAA back!

I broke down in a not so favorable area at 12:18 in the afternoon and wasn't able to receive a tow until 6:40 pm. Supposedly the tow companies were cancelling because my tow distance was 35 miles.
I pay for plus which is 100 miles.
I was continuously encouraged to leave my car unlocked with the key inside even though a tow had not been assigned. I waited for over 5 hours.
Service
Was scheduled for service on my windshield it was cracked I get to safeline no appointment was ever confirmed aaa dropped the ball

My daughter broke down in Oklahoma and she called AAA and she gave them the money to start her policy. The car is still sitting on a gas station lot, which is supposed to be towed to a AAA lot.
So therefore Im not real happy with all of this and something needs to be done and I wish someone would call me. My number is 573-275-****.
Preferred solution: My daughters car towed off a gas station lot to a nearest AAA lot

This morning we needed service involving being able to drive our car onto the flatbed and having the car delivered to the dealer about 15 miles away. Total time needed for service, approximately 30 minutes.
We called in at 8:00 am and was told only one call ahead of us. Not too bad, except the call before us turned out to be needing 2 hours of service. Somebody with a brain would think to put the 30 minute service need before the 2 hour service need. The delay caused us a big problem with the dealership kindly waiting on us.
AAA has become just like all others today, just okay is the new excellent.
Your AI and robots are ridiculous if you just want to speak with a representative. I'm done with AAA !

Verified ReviewerRequest for locksmith cancelled because of 45 minute algorithm
Called because key broke off in ignition. Locksmith called at 4:13 & informed me that because he couldnt schedule the request until 6:30, he would have to close this request & asked me to call back closer to 6:30 & open another request because AAA doesnt want any service sitting unresolved for longer than 45 minutes.
Preferred solution: They need to call another locksmith.
