AAA Travel is a SCAM - Buyers Beware!
My husband and I purchased what we believed would be a "deal" through AAA Travel to visit Alaska (not a cruise) this year. Our AAA Travel Agent, Mindy Jones, in the Woodland Hills, CA.
Branch, secured our lodging AFTER our cancellation window had passed and when we analyzed the rates available online for both our lodging and excursions, low and behold - our package was costing us $1200 MORE than what we could have paid out of pocket without their "connections" and "deals".
When we addressed this with our AAA Travel Agent and her Manager, Brigitte Mitchell, CTA, DS, Branch Manager of their Woodland Hills, CA Branch - her response was "Although we empathize with your dissatisfaction and regret the circumstances, we simply have no recourse to assist you." And this was after they insisted we provide "screen shots" with time date stamps of our analysis (which we did). Beware AAA members - the travel service provided by AAA seems to be a cash cow and provides NO value to the consumer!
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $1200.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
